Jacksonville is one of our primary install and service markets, close enough that our crane truck is a regular sight on Marine Boulevard and Western Boulevard. The work ranges from storefront channel letters (Olympus Athletic Club, Pizza Bonez) to full fabrication jobs like the retro pylon at Jeff’s Burgers, plus standing service work at dealerships and fuel stations.
Jacksonville is also the strictest permitting environment we work in, and that’s worth knowing before you buy a sign: ground signs need an engineer’s seal and a 142-mph wind design, electric signs need UL-listed components and an electrical permit, and the rules extend into the ETJ. Shops that don’t fabricate to those standards learn about them at inspection time. We build to them from the start. It’s the same standard we use everywhere, because everywhere here is hurricane country.
