A base-wide signage revitalization is a different animal from a storefront job. The sign count runs to the hundreds, access is controlled, every crew member is vetted, work is phased around base operations, and every unit sign has to match the standard, same construction, same mounting, same finish, whether it’s the main gate monument or a street blade on a side road.
Bender Signs is the contracted sign company for MCCS Cherry Point and has been for years. Our crews have replaced signage across the installation: command boards for 2D Marine Aircraft Wing, the welcome monument at the main gate, barracks and headquarters monuments, the LED board at Pelican Point, the golf course sign at Sound of Freedom, and the street name signs in between. Fabrication happens 30 minutes away in our Pollocksville shop; installs are scheduled with base operations and executed by our own crew and crane.
Why this matters to a buyer who isn’t a Marine base: this is the strongest reference a sign shop can hold. If your project is a multi-building campus, a school district, a hospital system, or a franchise group, the problems are the same ones (volume, consistency, phasing, access) at smaller scale. We’ve already solved them at this one.
